Usage
Cleaning medical machines: use the descaling programme. A working solution concentration of 0.5 - 1.5 % is used (when calculating concentrations, base them on the volume of water in the machine, as stated in the machine documentation). Other cleaning programmes can also be used in the machine, but the detergent supply must be switched off to avoid a negative reaction with the acidic product Steel. When using Steel to clean the machine with any programme, instruments requiring restoration can be loaded and treated in the machine at the same time. Cleaning instruments: use a 20% working solution (prepared in warm water), soak for 30-60 min, then wipe to remove residual soiling. Finally, wash and dry the instruments.
Treating instruments in ultrasonic units: prepare the working solution in warm water (concentration 5 to 20%, depending on the condition of the instruments), then immerse the instruments in the unit (soaking) for 30 min, after which switch the unit on for 10 min. Finally, rinse thoroughly. The working solution is used for 1 working day; if visibly heavily soiled, replace it more often.
Storage
Shelf life: 3 years.
Environment and safety
The product is eco-friendly and biodegradable; the PE-HD plastic packaging is recyclable.
Safety precautions
The product is acidic and must not be mixed with chlorine-containing products. The product must always be rinsed off; it must not remain on instruments and dry. Splashes on environmental surfaces are removed with water; wear protective gloves when working.
