On 22 November, Yevgeny Nikolaevich Razumishkin, Vice Governor of St Petersburg, visited our plant in Levashovo.
As Vice Governor of St Petersburg, Yevgeny Nikolaevich oversees urban services, housing policy and urban improvement, and the following city committees report to him:
During the visit, the participants discussed the results of joint projects, the company’s development prospects and its further cooperation with the city authorities.
Active cooperation between Klinin and the Urban Improvement Committee is under way in several areas at once: washing of road surfaces, pavements and residential courtyards.
During the visit, the participants discussed joint projects, the company’s development prospects and its further cooperation with the city authorities. Klinin’s laboratory currently offers ready-made solutions in several areas at once: washing of road surfaces, pavements and residential courtyards. A new area for cooperation is solutions for city façades: painting systems, anti-graffiti materials and environmentally safe façade cleaning products with class 1 biodegradability. Klinin may soon hold a series of seminars for St Petersburg’s municipal services on the plant’s products for comprehensive street cleaning at the Training and Methodological Centre of the Housing Committee.
In addition, the management of Klinin LLC presented its environmental initiatives to the participants: measures to reduce its carbon footprint, recycle and reuse packaging materials, and create “green” products that are safe for people and do not pollute soil or wastewater.
A separate topic was Klinin’s development of liquid de-icing agents for the winter maintenance of St Petersburg’s urban infrastructure. Solid de-icing agents have their drawbacks: soil salinisation and wastewater pollution, as well as increased corrosion of vehicles and residents’ footwear. The liquid agent being developed in Klinin’s laboratory will be effective both in combination with traditional granular materials, reducing their use and the environmental burden on the region, and on its own as an anti-icing measure. Klinin aims to carry out field trials of the formulation in winter 2023–2024 so that in spring 2024 it can present the city with a ready-to-use solution for the following winter.
Concluding the business part of the event, Yevgeny Razumishkin noted the high standard of production and expressed readiness to work together on urban improvement, protection of cultural heritage sites and road maintenance. In turn, summing up the meeting, Grigory Shifrin said that 2023 had been an extremely intense year for Klinin LLC, as a single calendar year saw the transfer of ownership to a new team, the restructuring of the management system, customer base and product range, and import substitution of raw materials due to the sanctions situation. The new Klinin team successfully withstood all these challenges and delivered good results, and today’s visit by the Vice Governor of St Petersburg to the plant is further proof of that.
